Psalm 23
The Lord is my Shepherd;
I thank you for that close relationship.
I shall not want;
You have supplied me with more than I need.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures;
In you, alone, I find peace and rest.
He leadeth me beside the still waters;
You send refreshment at the right time.
He restoreth my soul;
You, alone, are the great healer of body and soul.
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness…
With your guidance I now have confidence to I walk your ways.
For His namesake;
So that you can accomplish your purpose for me and others.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
When I’m tested, I know that you’ll be with me.
I will fear no evil;
I know that I can count on your daily protection.
For thou art with me.
I see your faithfulness every day.
Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Your embracing arms hold me and keep me safe.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies.
You give me hope.
Thou annointest my head with oil;
You have set me apart and made me holy for your service.
My cup runneth over.
Your abundance in my life is more than I deserve.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life;
Your past blessings in my life make me certain of continued blessings.
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord…
You have secured a heavenly mansion for me.
Forever!
Because of the sacrifice of your only Son, Jesus Christ, I know that I will spend eternity with you FOREVER!
