Our children are important members of our congregation and we have programs available to care for them and their faith as they grow.
Weekly Children's Sermon
Shepherd of the Hills shares a weekly Children's Sermon where the little ones in church (birth - 3rd grade) are invited to come forward and sit with Pastor while he talks with them on their level, sharing a 2-4 minute message.
Shepherd of the Hills offers Sunday School for children ages 3 through 8th grade from 9 - 10:15 a.m. on Sunday mornings from September through May. This is an opportunity for your children to hear more about accounts from the Bible in greater detail while learning life lessons for daily Christian living.
TL3 - Teens Living, Learning and Leading in Christ
Learning how to live one's faith as a teenager in today's world is a constant challenge. That's why we encourage spending time with like-minded teens taking a closer look at what God has to say about important life issues through a twice a month Bible Study on Sundays along with several other social and service opportunities throughout the year.
At Shepherd of the Hills, we are a family of believers. When our students head off to college we don't forget about them. Our video sermons are a great way for our students to stay connected to the Word when they aren't able to attend church on a weekly basis. The congregation also keeps in touch by sending personal notes, cards, gift cards and spiritual emails throughout the year to show our support and encouragement.
Shepherd of the Hills works in partnership with Good Shepherd Lutheran School
to provide a Christ-centered primary education in the West Bend area.
In addition we are part of the Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School
Association which consists of 28 area WELS churches that support Christian secondary education.
Both of these schools have a long standing tradition of pursuing academic excellence.
